There was a street sweeper who could sing so sweet ...
"There was a street sweeper who could sing so sweet. He'd sweep outside the stores in our city and sing. You'd be walking down the street and think there was a choir somewhere. Soon you'd come around the corner and it would turn out to be him."

Remember that summer ...
"Remember that summer we got the car stuck and we went and got the tractor and got it stuck and before we were finished we had every piece of machinery stuck. And Willis came down with the truck and didn't he get stuck too. That was a wet summer. Every piece of hay we had landed in the ditch that year."
