Clement Lemieux

Born during 1946 in the province of Québec, Clement Lemieux works as a sculptor and painter. Throughout his life he has devoted himself to learning new skills in carpentry, mechanics, karate, and art. It wasn’t until the early 90s when Clement began shaping his artistic career, working simultaneously in sculpture and painting. In both his sculptures and paintings, Clement uses similar vibrant, primary and secondary colours to transform abstracted forms into eye-popping landscapes.

He explores colour, materiality and different mixed medias in his paintings. For example, in Série forêt XXII he uses epoxy resin to create depth by adding an extra layer of dimension. As an artist he has participated in solo and group shows across North America. His work can be found in international private and corporate collections.
