Valerie has been designing and making jewellery since graduating from Sheridan School of Crafts and Design in 1984.

Her work is classic in design, using simple shapes with rich texture and contrasting clean lines. She works mainly with stirling silver but uses copper, brass, and gold as well.

One of her focuses in recent years has been making pieces inspired by the drawings of her children. From bugs and cars to a variety of people portraits, these pieces are often amusing and always precious, especially to the artists!
