Olga Muzychko

Olga Muzychko grew up in an artistic family in Russia on the coast of the Black Sea. Surrounded by literature, musical instruments and paintings, Muzychko developed her love for arts and culture. Her mother’s sister, Anna Filatova was an established artist and provided encouragement and guidance for Muzychko. Filatova’s influence fostered Muzychko’s artistic awareness within everyday experience. Muzychko began her art education in Russia. She continued her learning at the Toronto School of the Arts after moving to Canada. In combination with realistic principles that she developed in Russia, she draws her inspiration from her surroundings, specifically urban city scapes.
