Linda Woolven

As an oil painter, Linda Woolven creates expressive and colourful scenes of natural landscapes that are familiar to her, and remind her of experiences she had growing up in Northern Ontario. Linda Woolven’s paintings are often textural compositions, combining swatches of colour representative of the vegetation that encompasses the Northern Ontario environment. 

Linda Woolven received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from York University, while also studying at The Toronto School of Art, George Brown College, The Avenue Road School of Art. On top of practising fine art, she is: a published poet; writer and accomplished cookbook author; master herbalist; acupuncturist and solution-focused counsellor.
